Home of the "Small Wheel Press"
Born and raised in Western Massachusetts, I later lived in California for 12 years where I worked as a textile designer. I returned home to find my grandfather’s woodcutting and lino block tools from the 1930’s which I now use everyday. I always loved patterns and many of my prints form a repeat when placed together. I love the Southwest, leaves, turtles and hiking. I work with a 1893 book printing press I have dubbed my “small wheel press” which I restored. I print on unique, recycled paper and fabrics limited runs of designs. The reduction technique works with one block and each color is printed and then curved again. I really enjoy the tactile process and hope a collector would as well.
